Image to ASCII is a free browser-based tool for converting JPG, PNG, WebP and the first frame of GIF images into ASCII art. Adjust output width, character style, brightness, contrast, dithering and color, then export TXT, Markdown, PNG, SVG, HTML or ANSI. Image processing runs locally in the browser, and no account is required. Useful for README artwork, terminal output, Discord and retro visuals.
