Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern using VibeScore, submitting a listing, and what "Verified" does and doesn't promise.
Last updated: 2026-08-14
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of VibeScore (the "Service"), a public directory and leaderboard of applications built with AI coding tools, ranked on build data such as cost, time to ship and tokens used. "VibeScore," "we," "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the Service. By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Accounts
You need an account to submit or manage a listing. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure, including anything that happens under your account before you tell us it's been compromised. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create one.
A builder handle and profile are public once you have a published listing. Don't impersonate another person or organization, and don't create an account for someone else without their permission.
3. Submitting a listing
When you submit an app, you're telling us:
- You have the right to submit it — you built it, you're authorized to represent it, or you otherwise have permission to list it.
- The name, tagline, description, screenshots, logo and links you provide are accurate and don't infringe anyone else's rights.
- If you upload a usage report (from
vibescore-clior ccusage) to be parsed for verified metrics, that report reflects your own local activity.
You grant VibeScore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce the content of your listing — text, images, and the metrics parsed from your report — as part of the Service, including on board pages, your builder profile, and anywhere the Service is promoted (for example, a screenshot of the leaderboard). You keep ownership of what you submit; this license just lets us show it as the product is supposed to work.
You can edit a listing's metadata and images at any time, and delete it entirely. Metrics parsed from a report are not user-editable once submitted — see What "Verified" actually means for why.
4. What "Verified" means, and what it doesn't
A "Verified" badge means the listing's metrics were parsed from a usage report you uploaded, rather than typed into a form. It does not mean VibeScore audited, independently confirmed, or guarantees the accuracy of those numbers. A report is a local file on your machine; it could in principle be edited before upload. We run automated checks for internally inconsistent or implausible reports and review outliers, but "Verified" is a claim about provenance, not a certification of truth.
A "self-reported" listing carries no such parsing at all — everything about it, including whether it's excluded from the ranked boards, is stated as such on the listing itself.
You should not rely on any listing's figures — verified or not — as audited financial or business data. They're offered for comparison and discovery within the directory, nothing more.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- Submit a fabricated, tampered-with, or otherwise misleading usage report, or otherwise misrepresent what a listing cost, took, or contains.
- Submit content that's illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you don't have the rights to post.
- Submit a listing for an app that is itself malicious, or that exists to defraud, phish, or harm people who click through to it.
- Scrape, bulk-extract, or systematically republish the directory's data outside of normal browsing, or abuse the API/search endpoints beyond what a person using the site would generate.
- Attempt to manipulate a board's ranking through anything other than the build itself — including submitting altered or misleading usage data, creating duplicate or sockpuppet listings for the same app, or coordinating fake engagement.
- Interfere with the Service's normal operation, including attempting unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
6. Moderation, removal, and featured placements
New listings are reviewed before they appear publicly; while a listing is pending, only you (and admins) can see it. We may reject, unpublish, or remove a listing at our discretion — including after publication — if it violates these Terms, the guardrails described on the Help page, or if we're asked to by a rights holder.
Featured placements are sold and set by hand. A featured listing is labeled as such and never changes where it would otherwise rank on the boards beneath it — a purchase buys placement, not a better score.
7. Intellectual property
The VibeScore name, logo, and the site's design and non-listing content belong to VibeScore. The underlying software this Service runs on is separately available under an open-source license — see the project's repository for those terms, which are distinct from these Terms and govern the code, not your use of the hosted Service or the data in it.
Listing content — names, descriptions, images, and parsed metrics — remains the submitter's, subject to the license granted in Section 3.
8. Third-party links and listed apps
Listings link to apps and websites VibeScore doesn't operate, control, or vet for safety, functionality, or legality. Visiting a listed app or its links is at your own risk, and inclusion in the directory isn't an endorsement of the app itself.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing's data (verified or otherwise) is accurate, complete, or current. We don't warrant the accuracy of numbers derived from third-party tools (ccusage, vibescore-cli) or third-party model pricing data used to compute cost figures.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeScore is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on anything in it — including a listing's figures, a linked app, or the ranking of either.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, and will generally try to tell you why. You can stop using the Service and delete your listings at any time; deleting your account removes your published listings from the directory.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the update. For a material change, we'll try to give more visible notice than just the date stamp.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the competent courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
